Design & Prototyping

From Pencil Sketch to a Prototype

EA Craftworks can process even the most abstract design concept into cold, hard reality. Architectural metalwork typically gets installed in the final stages of renovation or construction and requires a precision design to attain the desired fit and finish. To achieve this, as needed, EA personnel template the site, then produce digital models for accurate fabrication. Often we assist with design iterations, ensuring a final product that can be efficiently fabricated and installed without sacrificing aesthetic appeal. As part of this process, we utilize digital renderings, CAD samples, and even 3D prints. We serve as your design partner, to ensure a clean solution in keeping with the original design concept.

Engineering & Industrial Design

Our engineering and design services include a full suite of CAD (Computer Aided Design) services, 3D modeling, site templating, prototyping and product development. EA utilizes CAD software and techniques to bring your ideas to an efficiently manufactured reality. When a project requires installation, EA personnel conduct the most thorough site templating in the fabrication business. We are onsite as often as required to get the best possible design and installation of your product.

Design

We can take your sketch or concept print and work with you to bring your idea into reality. Our expert designers use a variety of software to create 3D models, fabrication prints, and renderings so that you can see what your creation will look like before our skilled fabricators begin to craft your project. We can also provide STEP files, PDF, and a variety of vector files to aid in communicating with other vendors and contractors to facilitate the production of your vision.

Prototyping

Do you have an original product that you need to have fabricated? We can help. We are happy to walk through the design process with you to move your design from prototype into production. We can computer model your design, 3D print a model, and produce a functioning prototype to your specification.
